The resort is situated in the Upper Village of Blackcomb Mountain in a quiet and private area with ski in/out access 20 meters away. The Spearhead Trail takes you to hundreds of miles of hiking and biking including Lost Lake Park Bike Trail. There is a free shuttle bus every 10 minutes to Whistler Village with its numerous restaurants and shops. The location with ski-in/out access means minimal walking and carrying gear to the slopes. A short walk or downhill ski puts you in the middle of shops, restaurants, and spas.
The ski school, equipment rentals, and lift tickets can be found at the Blackcomb Daylodge. The Wizard Express takes you up to Blackcomb Mountain, where you can then use the Peak 2 Peak gondola to access Whistler Mountain. Your International Vacation Home Exchange accommodation in Queenstown is called Belfast Retreat -- a modern four bedroom, two and a half bath house with 220 meters of living space. The house sits on a hill overlooking Queenstown, which is a short 15-minute down-hill walk away. Unless you’re the active, physical type of vacationer, you may want to consider taking a cab to get back home. The vertical rise is about 130 meters.
The views are incredible from your terrace, looking down the lake and across the water to the mountains on the other side. The terrace also has a four-person spa with wooden decking and an open fireplace.
