Chantrey Cottage is an old, 1850's, clematis covered characterful cottage. Set in a pretty garden at the top of a hill, it has spectacular views from decking immediately outside the main door, across the valley to the forests and moors beyond. it is a hidden gem with a totally private, large, interesting garden, complete with pond, waterfall and trampoline.
On the ground floor there is a modern kitchen, shower room, light and airy sun room, beamed dining room and cosy lounge.
Upstairs are 2 large bedrooms, the main one having ensuite bathroom and dressing area.
There are attractive old firplaces in the main reception rooms and bedrooms. The beamed dining room has a large wood burning stove for those cooler days.

It is only 2 mins walk down the hill to numerous shops, cafes, restaurants, boutiques, library etc. There are frequent buses into the city, train station or out to the countryside. The city of Sheffield is teeming with green spaces, museums, leisure and sports facilities, culture, Meadowhall shopping comples and many more attractions. Only 2 mins walk from the cottage into nearby woods, leading to a large park with commanding views over the city and countryside. The glorious Peak District with all its beautiful scenery and numerous attractions is only a short, 10 mins drive away.
