This architect-designed, luxury Ohana ("family cottage" in Hawaiian) occupies a 6 acre site between the West Maui Mtns. and the Pacific Ocean. The views are enormous and breathtaking...a perfect, serene get-away.

There are 2 Bedrooms (with queen beds) each with it's own Bathroom (outdoor showers only), and a detached Studio which can be used as a 3rd Bedroom (also with a queen bed) with a full Bathroom (indoor and outdoor showers). The Great Room has custom doors which fold back completely, connecting the indoors and outdoors seamlessly. Each room has a ceiling fan and the Bedrooms and Studio are air-conditioned. Furnishings have a simple, modern flair. The fully-equipped Kitchen, part of the Great Room, has stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry, and granite countertops. A herb garden and bar-b-que are just outside the Kitchen next to the Dining Lanai.

Generous lanais (covered outdoor terraces), with fountain and firepit, provide areas for sitting, eating, whale watching, and relaxing.

An infinity-edge pool and spa are located steps from the Great Room.

The property has a palm nursery and a fruit orchard (feel free to pick and eat whatever is ripe). Planting beds with tropical flowers surround the Ohana.

A detached 2-car Garage contains snorkeling gear, mountain bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs and an umbrella.

Hiking/biking trails, a paved jogging/walking trail, and horse stables are accessible from the property.

You may never want to leave, but if you do, you're a 5-10 minute drive to:

• world-class beaches for swimming, snorkeling, scuba, and surfing
• the historic whaling village of Lahaina with it's shops and restaurants and galleries
• the resorts of Kaanapali and Kapalua with their spas, tennis courts, and championship golf courses

Or, plan longer excursions to:

• the resorts and beaches of Wailea and Makena (30-45 minute drive)
• the summit of Mt. Haleakala at 10,000' above sea level
• the road to Hana
• the rugged north shore with it's big waves
• the tropical rain forests and their waterfalls and natural pools
• the lava flows at La Perousse Bay
• the Maui Arts and Cultural Center (MACC)

You can visit the islands of Lanai and Molokai by boat, or the other Hawaiian islands by small plane.

You will be met at the property when you arrive, given keys and a tour, shown how to use the various facilities--heat up the spa, gain access to the snorkeling equipment, turn on the bar-b-que and air conditioning and ceiling fans, use the Kitchen appliances, etc. You will also be given maps and tour guides of the island, and recommendations for restaurants, beaches, golf courses, etc.

On-island management and concierge services are available (cost to be determined based on specific services).

The Kahului International Airport (OGG) is a 40 minute drive from the property.
