The house functions as a deluxe suite, with a living room, den bedroom, master bedroom and two bathrooms en suite, as well as a third 'powder room' bathroom off the foyer.
It has a fireplace in the living room, and wonderful views of the Avon River.
Queen size beds, both with down comforters and pillows are in the bedrooms. Modern European and North American furniture is featured. Seasonal, healthy breakfasts, consisting of local organic products are served daily.
Dinner may also be served in the house during restaurant hours; and should you wish to use the house for small meetings or parties, we shall be glad to cater these for you.

From Straford, one can easily visit the historic village of St. Mary's, or, larger nearby cities like London, Kitchener-Waterloo, and Cambridge; most popular is a visit to the Amish and Mennonite regions around Millbank and St. Jacobs, and old colonial villages like Elora and Fergus. We are nearby the shores of Lake Huron, like historic towns of Goderich, as well as the pretty cottage village of Bayfield, and the best beach in Southwestern Ontario: Grand Bend. Also, strolling the dune spotted beaches of Pinery Provincial Park is a must visit for any tourists during the spring, summer and fall months.
Elsewhere in Ontario, we are close to Canada's biggest city, Toronto; the majestic and world famous Niagara Falls, and the pretty town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, the Shaw Festival (http://www.shawfest.com/) and the wine producing region of Southwestern Ontario (www.winesofontario.org).
The shores of Lake Erie are also close to us, as well as the northern tip of Southwestern Ontario, including the spectacular Bruce Peninsula, Collingwood, Georgian Bay, Midland, and Muskoka regions.
We are close to historic border cities in the United States, like Buffalo, New York, as well as, Detroit, and Port Huron, Michigan. It is possible to visit us by train, using Canada's national rail service, Via Rail (http://www.viarail.ca/en_index.html). Small jets can land at Stratford Municipal Airport.
Please contact us for detailed information and expert advice regarding how to get to and from your region to ours. Essentially, the closest international airport is located in Toronto. Also, one can easily fly to nearby cities like Detroit, Michigan, or, Buffalo, New York, and then drive to us in about three hours. (If you stay with us for seven nights or longer, we will provide complimentary chauffeur service from Toronto Pearson Intl. Airport, to Stratford, and back.)
Stratford is a very walkable small country town. Everything you need is within easy walking distance from our riverside and central location in downtown Stratford.
