Studio (unit one):

The studio is in a basic steel building but is furnished very comfortably inside.  There are basic kitchen facilities, but not full oven (microwave) and visitors can have the use of the washing machine in the house on request. The photographs of the interior are accurate.  The studio is at the end of our block facing away from the house and onto a side garden.  It is shaded by trees and is light and airy.  It can have one king bed or two singles.  All linen / towels supplied and all kitchen and dining utensils supplied.  The studio is used by our guests and family, as well as for rental from time to time.  Interior photographs are for the studio.

Cottage (unit two):

An artist's renovated wooden hills cottage with two bedrooms and studio or study, a main living room, small annexe living area, very large kitchen and outside terrraces and decks with views. Furnished with quality furniture.  Exterior photograph is of the cottage.

The bedroom areas can have two king beds or one king and two singles. Living room has long leather lounge suite and leather tub chair, cable TV, stereo system, video and DVD player. The living annexe has a linen covered couch and an antique circular writing table. There are a large number of books and CDs in the house. The study is also set up as an artists studio (only watercolours!).

Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher and all modern kitchen appliances.

Laundry has a large washer and small dryer.

There are two computers, one equipped with broadband. There is no wireless service.

Plenty of offstreet parking.

Large garden with the lawn maintained by a gardener, in a village environment with small supermarket, library, take away shops etc. Very close to larger shopping centres 10 - 15 mins drive away.

This area is very green (trees) and set on the edge of an attractive mountain, flowing down to a valley of vineyards and other food delights. Tourist area of some historic interest, art galleries, wildlife sanctuary, restaurants, farmer's and craft markets.

Further afield it does not take long to cross the Dividing Ranges into more open countryside with smaller rural towns.

At the same time in our area, you are on the edge of a large city known for sporting and cultural events.

About 80km from Melbourne International airport. 59km from Melbourne Central Train Station aand 3 km from local train station. There are buses that run to the next major centre and train station several times a day, but not late at night.
