The Magnificent Magentic Island is just a short boat trip across the sparkling sea. The Island has beautiful beaches to explore and magnificent nature walks. Koalas can be regularly spotted throughout the island.

Lovely and laid-back Townsville, one of it's greatest assets is year-round tropical warmth and sunshine. Winter, as most people know it, does not exist here.
You can visit the Reef HQ, with the world's largest coral reef aquarium, there you can see the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef without even getting wet!
Or you can do the real thing and dive the Great Barrier Reef with one of the dive operators in town.
